This collection – Lois Hill for Tommy Bahama – offers the same great jewelry the designer is known for at more affordable prices. Her inspiration is derived from her great passions: art, past civilizations, travel, cultural curiosity, and a desire to design and create. The result: an entirely unique body of work – beautiful, bold jewelry, juxtaposing ancient and contemporary. She began with a small team of seven artisans while researching ancient techniques, and now she is responsible for training hundreds of artisans worldwide.

Lois Hill's jewelry collection symbolizes her unwavering belief that history, precision, and beauty are both timely and timeless. Her trademark technique of combining granulation and filigree is inspired by wirework from contemporary Scandinavian filigree. Hill adds tiny granules of sterling silver, incorporating her own unique interpretation of granulation, which dates back to 3000 BC. The unique marriage of these two techniques is evident in her core collection and her signature scroll patterns.
